King's Somaliland Partnership Volunteering Opportunities


> Review of Nursing & Midwifery School Standards. We are recruiting a volunteer to support our partner institutions to strengthen regulation of nursing and midwifery schools in Somaliland. Working closely with our national partners, they will provide technical expertise and guidance to review the generic standards currently used to assess nursing schools, and support the development of new standards, associated tools and training. Deadline for applications is 17th January 2021Read more and find out how to apply >

> Review of Medical School Standards. We are recruiting a volunteer to support our partner institutions to strengthen regulation of medical schools in Somaliland. King's Sierra Leone Partnership Volunteering Opportunities


> Biomedical Engineer. We are recruiting two volunteers to support our partners in Sierra Leone to build the capacity of 30 maintenance staff from district, regional and tertiary health facilities. The volunteers will use a 1-1 mentorship and teaching approach to develop the skills and systems of hospital maintenance teams over a 12 month period from March or April 2021. Deadline for applications is 24th January 2021. Read more and find out how to apply >

> Clinical Referrals Volunteer. We are recruiting a volunteer to support the improvement of patient referrals at tertiary hospitals in Sierra Leone, under the National Referral System (NRS). The volunteer will join our in-country team from March or April 2021 for 12 months, based at Connaught Hospital in Freetown.
